Disqualification:

You may be disqualified from taking an examination or receiving scores if the NBCE or its representative concludes any of the following.

  1. Any statement or information contained in your application is false or misleading.
  2. You take an examination for another person or another person takes an examination in your place.
  3. You have cheated, based either upon observation or statistical analyses of answer sheets.
  4. You have engaged in any act or conduct that has jeopardized or could jeopardize the security or integrity of NBCE examinations, including, but not limited to, copying or reproducing the examination or any portion of the examination in any way, and/or memorizing questions and answers for possible disclosure to any other person at any time.
  5. You have engaged in any other conduct that might invalidate the examination results, including, but not limited to, removing items from the testing room.
  6. You have engaged in any behavior that is deemed to be disruptive, offensive or inappropriate in any way to the testing environment.

The NBCE may contact school officials and annotate transcripts of examinees whose conduct is deemed inappropriate or disruptive to the testing process.

Copyright Notice:

All NBCE examinations and all questions contained therein are copyright protected. You could be found guilty of violating federal copyright laws if you attempt to record or transmit, in any manner, any portion of the NBCE examination for use by another party. Many states could view such action as justification for denying a candidate a license to practice chiropractic. Implication could result in disqualification or ineligibility for an NBCE Certificate of Attainment.

Licensure Requirements:

Each state imposes unique requirements for licensure. Please contact the licensing authority in the state(s) in which you wish to practice for current information on licensure requirements and privileges afforded to those who hold the NBCE certificate, as well as to those who successfully complete the Physiotherapy or Acupuncture Examination.

Score Reporting:

Scores will be available online at https://mynbce.nbce.org six weeks after the examination and mailed to examinees within seven weeks of the examination. The only way to view scores online is to create a MyNBCE account. Transcripts will be available for mailing to state boards within eight weeks of the examination, provided your written transcript request is received in the NBCE offices two weeks before the projected mailing.
